DENVER PRIDE PARADE LEATHER CONTINGENT
Each year, the Rocky Mountain Leather Alliance, the Leather Colorado Foundation, and the Denver boys of Leather partner together and sponsor a float in the Denver Pride Festival Parade.
If you are interested in marching with us, please show up at Cheesman Park on Sunday morning. We will be in the Orange section, #45. (We’ll be near the playground, and a right hand turn with a stop sign).
The float will be arriving at 7:30am, and the parade begins at 9:30am. We’d love some help with some final touches to the float, if you get there early.

BACK ALLEY IS COMING UP!
Back Alley, Denver, our annual fetish festival, is coming up on August 24-25, 2024.
We’re looking for volunteers and demonstrators to help out with the event. We’re also looking for sponsors.
If you are interested, please reach out by sending an email to bad2024@rockymountainleather.org, and let us know how you’d like to get involved.
Let us know you’re coming by marking yourself as attending on our event pages, and share them with your friends! We’ll be making announcements on these pages of participating vendors and organizations.

UPDATE FROM THE BOARD
We are delighted to officially announce that two organizations have applied, and been accepted, as subsidiary organizations to RMLA. These organizations are:
- The Denver Leathermen’s Forum
- The Denver Bondage Club
We are excited to be partnering with these organizations in order to support growing leather offerings of education and play in the Denver area.
–
Additionally, we have enacted a code of conduct for activities conducted by RMLA and its subsidiaries. Most notably, we have codified trans-inclusive language regarding gender. We did this to ensure that transgender individuals know they are never going to be excluded from any of our events, including gendered events (such as men’s play parties).
–
As we make our way through pride month, remember that leather and kink are a vital expressions of sexuality. We believe strongly in freedom of sexual expression when considering queer progress. If queer sexuality is squished down to a heteronormative box, it is not true liberation.
In other words – thank you for doing your part to keep kink at pride. Someone may see you being your authentic self, and it will help them know they have a place in our community.
Happy pride month!
