UPDATE FROM THE BOARD
We’re excited for the upcoming leather events in the Denver area.
Coming up in early May is the inaugural Colorado Leather Pride weekend. This weekend, hosted by the Leather Colorado Foundation, includes contests for titleholders including Mr. Leather Colorado and Colorado Master/slave.
The weekend schedule is as follows:
- Thursday, May 2, 2024, 6:30pm, Denver Eagle: Denver Leathermen’s Forum featuring presenter Marcus Barela, (International Mister Leather #45).
- Friday, May 3, 2024, 7:00pm, Denver Eagle: Contest meet & greet, pecs & personality
- Saturday, May 4, 2024, 6:00pm, Trade: Contest presentation, pop question, formal speech, and winner announcement
- Sunday, May 5, 2024, 4:00pm, Denver Sweet: Victory Beer Bust
The following month, June 6-9, 2024, the Denver boys of Leather will host the 2024 Western boy Run. For more information about this, please visit their Facebook event, Telegram group, or registration form.
Additionally, a new group is being created named the Denver Bondage Club. This is a new BDSM group for men who like to do BDSM with other men. The first meeting of this group will be on Saturday, May 4, 2024 at 2:30pm. This group asks for $10 at the door, and will require a consent form be signed. As this group is a private gathering, the address cannot be shared publicly. If you would like to attend, please contact Daniel Barnes (dbarnes@rockymountainleather.org) for more information.
Finally, we’d like to remind you that RMLA has a policy for requesting funds for organizations which support Leather, BDSM, kink, and fetish in the Rocky Mountain region. This grant program is meant to be approachable, and we can help you apply if you need. The policy can be found here: RMLA Grant/Budget Request Policy.

and every Third Friday of the month
Each month, RMLA takes over Trade, our local leather bar in Denver, and provides demos and tastings. This event gives folks an opportunity to learn and ask questions about various kink activities.

Our annual outdoor fetish fair occurs the weekend before Labor Day Weekend.
Denver Leathermen’s Forum at The Denver Eagle
Thursday, May 2, 2024, 6:30-8:30pm, and every first Thursday of the month
The Denver Leathermen’s Forum (DLF) features classes, presentations, and panel discussions, targeted at gay men interested in leather, kink, fetish, and BDSM.
In May, DLF is hosting a conversation with International Mister Leather #45 Marcus Barela, regarding his leather and title-holding journey.

Though these classes are targeted at gay men, all are welcome and nobody will be turned away. These classes are completely free, and anybody 21+ is welcome to attend. For more information, contact Daniel Barnes (dbarnes@rockymountainleather.org).
Sober Kinksters Meetup, Dangerous Theater Annex
2620 W 2nd Ave #1, Denver, CO, 80219
Thursday, May 2, 2024, 7:30pm, and every Thursday
This is open to anyone who chooses to play sober or is in recovery. It is open to all gender and sexual identities and anyone 19 years of age or older.
We meet every Thursday at 7:30pm at the Dangerous Theater Annex. The address is 2620 W 2nd Ave, Denver, CO 80219
There is a $5 donation charge to attend. If you cannot pay the fee, send me a message and we can work something out. There are scholarships available. Please do not let the fee keep you from joining us.

Denver Bondage Club, Private Location
Saturday, May 4, 2024, 2:30pm, and the Saturday after DLF each month
The Denver Bondage Club is a new, private meeting for men to engage in BDSM with each other.
We meet at 2:30pm and break for pizza at 4:45pm. We ask for ten dollars at the door, and we will ask for you to sign a liability waiver.
This meeting is for anyone who might enjoy an afternoon of BDSM with a friendly group of men.

MHF Meet-and-Greet at The Denver Eagle
Saturday, May 4, 2024, 8pm, and every first Saturday of the month
For red hanky enthusiasts, the Mile High Fisters (MHF) host a social at the Eagle before the Red Light cruise night. MHF is inclusive of all genders, and also hosts play parties.

BLUF Denver Social, The Denver Eagle
Saturday, May 17, 2024, 8-10pm, and every third Saturday of the month
BLUF is the Breeches and Leather Uniform Fanclub, and is characterized by full leather outfits and uniforms.
“Join us for our BLUF Denver Social, right before the Eagle’s monthly ‘Third Gear’ night. Come along and meet other local BLUF members. Dresscode preferred, but not required for this event.”
This also coincides with the Rocky Mountain Cigar Men meetup at 7pm.
