MESSAGE FROM THE BOARD
We’re delighted by the fact that there are a slew of new events on the calendar that didn’t exist this time last year. Clearly, there is a desire for community events in the leather community in Denver.
During our last board meeting, we voted on a proposal to formalize our grant/budget process, meaning there is a more streamlined process for other leather groups to request funds from RMLA. If you’re the leader of another group and you’re looking for some extra cash to bring in a talented speaker, or perhaps repair that sling frame you’ve been meaning to get to, please get in touch with us and see if we can help!
Finally, we are beginning planning for the 2023 edition of Back Alley, RMLA’s annual fundraising street fair event. We’re always looking for volunteers who are willing to help us make our event a success. If you have any interest in helping us out in hosting this event, please let us know by emailing board@rockymountainleather.org. We would love to have you.
Daniel Barnes (he/him)
Board President, Rocky Mountain Leather Alliance

A new discussion group for people who are sober, or who like to be sober while playing or attending leather events. From the organizer:
“Are you someone who likes to be sober when playing or at kink events?
This is a new meetup/discussion group starting January 26th.
It’s a gathering of kinksters to discuss anything that has to do with being sober while playing and/or in the community. This is open to anyone who chooses to play sober or is in recovery. This is not affiliated with any 12 step program or other recovery group. It is an open discussion for anything to do with being sober in the community. It is open to all gender and sexual identities and anyone 19 years of age or older.
There is a $5 donation charge to attend. If you cannot pay the fee, send us a message and we can work something out. Please do not let the fee keep you from joining us.”
